Music and Arts Festival 2026

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is an annual music and arts festival held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley of the Colorado Desert, United States. The festival was founded by Paul Tollett and Rick Van Santen in 1999, and is managed by Goldenvoice, a subsidiary of AEG Presents.

The international music and arts festival Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is confirmed to return in 2026. This annual event, which always attracts the attention of world music fans, will take place over two weekends, namely April 10–12 and April 17–19, 2026.

The event featured artists from a variety of musical genres, including rock, pop, indie, hip hop, and electronic dance, as well as art installations and sculptures. On the sidelines, several stages continued to host live music.

Coachella is known for the diverse clothing worn by its attendees, which primarily includes an eclectic mix of colors, materials, and ethnicities. Some activists and journalists have criticized Coachella as a form of cultural appropriation, particularly the non-Indigenous people who wear Native American-inspired headdresses and body paint.

• Status: Passes for both weekends are currently sold out following the initial sale in September 2025.
• Pricing: Original general admission prices started at $549 for Weekend 2 and $649 for Weekend 1 (including fees).
• Transportation: The Coachella Shuttle Pass is recommended as the fastest way to travel to and from the venue, with dedicated routes that avoid standard traffic.
• Accommodations: Onsite camping remains a popular option, ranging from standard car camping to luxury “Safari Camping”. Offsite, many attendees stay in nearby Palm Springs at resorts like The Oasis Resort.
